These guys are probably the best people in the group that I would trust. I would say Jim but he just got to Michigan and I don't see him going to Miami after one year coaching in the NCAA

I like what I read about Gase. A young coach I think would be a good thing for us.

I don't believe McDaniels will want to join the same division as the Pats.

Teryl Austin is another interesting candidate. Although I think it would be maybe easier for an offensive guy like Gase to find one of the many talented DCs in the league to join the staff.

Shaw and Sumlin are a couple interesting college candidates.

A lot of these names are pretty much "meh" (316 doesn't have that copyrighted yet, does he???)

The one name that intrigues me, and I mentioned him last year too, is Frank Reich. He's a motivational speaker, which would be a big plus for this Dolphins' team, and he's all about football. He hasn't been an actual coach for very long, but I remember when he was on the Bills, he was referred to as an extra coach even back then. He may not be ready to make the jump to head coach just yet, but if he had a strong OC and DC I bet he could be real good in time.

Here's the thing, unless we blow up the front office, no decent coach will touch this team. They have to get the house in order, which means Tannenbaum as GM and President (probably) and let him do all the hiring with Stephen Ross showing up only to smile, nod, introduce himself, and sign the checks.

If they do that, and only if they do that, then they might get a good coach out of all this. If not, we'll just have the fourth or sixth best guy out there, maybe.

I heard today that Starbucks is now selling a drink that tastes like...graham crackers. Yes, really.

The sad part is, I never go to Starbuck's but now I want to just to have one of those.

I saw it today. They put crushed cookies on top of it. Just what I wanted with my coffee, sludge.

Starbucks' iced tea lemonades are a thing for me, but at $2,700.00 a pop, I should cut down. Okay, it's not that much, but for flavored liquid, it's too god damn high!

Based on the names in that article, Teryl Austin would probably be my first choice. None of them jump out at me the way Bowles and Quinn would have last year. Damn you Ross for keeping Mr. Magoo despite overwhelming evidence against him.
