Holly shiiit. ESPN is saying Miami won the draft yesterday. Never thought I would hear ESPN giving props to the Dolphins.

WOW! I guess there's a first time for everything.

IF Waddle is the next Tyreek Hill, then they got the best WR in the Draft IMO. I would say best offensive player except we all know that is going to be Pitts!

And if Jae Phillips stays healthy, they got the best Edge Rusher in the draft.

Two Impact players who also filled big need positions for the Phins. Heck yeah that is a major big win IMO.

And compared to the usual Solid but no Impact drafts we have been used to.... A huge level of improvement.

Pitts is a great talent and no doubt will have a good career. But check back with me in year 4.  Matt Ryan is about done.  He's not an elite QB and Jones wants out of Atlanta.  If Pitts is to mature into a generational talent, It's going to be somewhere else IMHO. Ryan will only warm him up for another team.

There was one guy in the late 80s/early 90s that used to give the Fins props all the time. I think his name was Pete Axthelm, if I have the right guy which I think I do. He passed away in 1991 and it's quite possible the ESPN brass had him killed off for loving on the Dolphins too much.
