Game Day London Fins vs Jets

I'm working tomorrow and with the early start I figure get it going. Hopefully I get to stay in my building and watch the game but if not catch what I can and listen on the radio.

I really used to love Fins vs Jets week but the life has been sucked out of me. This team and staff is going no place and we are looking at another dismal season. All I can ask is Beat the Jets, Giants, and Cowboys and split the Pats.

I'm in an office with FIOS. Hopefully I can hang for the next 3 hours and not get called someplace else.

Philbert looks absolutely lost standing on the sideline. How can a coach from the Packers lineage be so lost and clueless?

3rd and 16 and you dump a screen pass with no gain to Landry?

Can someone please tell the coaching staff and QB that the ball needs to go 10 yards past the line of scrimmage for a first down.

We have my daughter's birthday party (ice skating) so I won't be able to watch the game live. But, I just did a quick check and see that it's already 10-0 Jets at the end of the first, and Grimes and Jenkins are both out with injuries. Yay.

How come it's EVERYONE else's fault that Tanny sucks and none of his own?

We might be looking at one of the worst Fin's team in history.

So, I set my alarm for 9:20 to get up and watch the proceedings, but I wake up at 11:30, only to see I had set it for PM, not AM. So, down 27-7 middle of 3rd qtr. The latest 4th down faliure has grampa joe showing lots of fire imploring his troops to "get off the field". Wow.

97 yards through 3 qtrs. Are you kidding me?

Landry is the only real player this team has. I don't want to hear anyone defend him Tannehill SUCKS

I'm through with the excuses for Tannehill. This jests team tries as much as they could to give the Fins this game, but he could not put the team on his back and take advantage. I'm sorry, he's a nice guy, but he is not a killer. Time to move on.

What a disappointment. This team sucks in every aspect of the game.

Only one with any fire is Landry.

Offensive line is atrocious. The whole team has nothing, no fire, nothing.

The score wasn't indicative of the game. It's the same thing all over again, start slow, terrible game plan on offense, terrible defense, terrible, terrible, terrible. They aren't prepared, the offensive line gave Tannehilll two plays today where the pocket was semi-clean, the rest of the time he was up to his elbows in a pass rush. They couldn't run.

It's just the same thing we've seen for three-plus years from this staff. Time to move on from them.

First half was one of the worse performances seen by Miami, since last week against the Bills.

If Ross is even semi-satisfied with this team, he's not just dumb he's losing his mind. Insane.

Philbin should be fired tomorrow. Coyle should not leave London on the team plane.

Against my better judgement, I watched. Was out of town, watched it at the hotel this morning.

Basically the same thing as last week, only with the appearance of a closer game because the final score wasn't nearly as bad. No ability to stop the run at all---if there are no changes, I imagine the Dolphins will cure the ills for Demarco Murray, Arian Foster, Darren McFadden and others. This is a continuation of the second half of last year on run D, and it is getting worse every week. Someone might well put 300 rushing yards on us before all is said and done. My money would be on Justin Forsett, just looking at the schedule.

Along with that, no ability to run the ball either, or to pass block. And Tannehill is regressing badly.

Matt Darr looks great, but to be fair, he's getting a lot of practice, like Fields did in '07.

Philbin and Coyle must both be fired tomorrow; otherwise, I predict over 2/3 of the seats will be empty for the next home game on the 25th.

This season Tannehill is being pressures on 43.7 percent of his dropbacks (highest percentage in the league), up from 38.4 percent last season. The running game as a whole is actually averaging almost the same per rush as a year ago, but that is built largely on the back of a few gimmick plays to Jarvis Landry. While Miller was averaging over five yards per carry in 2014, this season he has managed just 3.5 per carry behind a poorer-performing offensive line.

To make things worse, when Tannehill can get the ball to a receiver, he is seeing it dropped more often. Last year the Dolphins receivers dropped 29 passes from him. This year they have already dropped 10.
