Flacco will start for Jets on Sunday

So, yeah, the Jets are dusting Flacco off for our game this weekend. It really makes no sense - Flacco is a dead end and starting him accomplishes nothing. If Wilson isn't healthy enough yet, why wouldn't they continue to develop Mike White?

Anyway, Flacco is done, and has been for a long time. The Dolphins defense should feast.

And, the Jets have allowed 175 points in their last 4 games...time for the Miami offense to FINALLY wake up and score some points.

Jets' head coach Robert Saleh seems to be taking lessons from Brian Flores on how to handle QBs:

Only two days ago, Saleh said it was too soon to give up [Mike] White. Now he’s benched.

“I want to be very, very clear on this one: My comments on Monday were because people wanted him out of New York,” Saleh said. “What Mike has done in three weeks as a starter has proven to this entire organization and, in my opinion, to the entire fan base that he is a capable quarterback who can play in this league. We’re more excited about Mike as a quarterback in our future because of what he’s been able to do.”

Gotta love it..the Jets are so exited about White's future that they'd rather start a 36 year old washed-up Flacco than give White the start. jocolor

Yeah, this looks bad for Saleh. And again, another example of the HC (or the Owner) putting a win now mentality in place over what is in the best long term interests of the team.

Yep, and there are also some people here in the NY area saying that Zach Wilson is in fact healthy enough to play!

You have two young QBs that you can develop in a lost season, but instead you choose the washed up, dead end QB that isn't in the team's long-range plans and brings nothing to the table?? Really???
