Undrafted Rookie Signings Update
RB Zaquandre White and OT Kellen Diesch (who I usually drafted in the 3rd/4th of my PFF mocks) have signed. They also signed a punter from FIU that wasn't on any of the predraft prospect lists I saw (Tommy Heatherly) which seems to be a theme of Grier's. S Verone McKinley was rated as the best available undrafted one by espn.com for what that's worth. An O-lineman from Minnesota not named Daniel Faalele (Blaise Andries) was also signed.

White, Diesch and McKinley were all expected to be drafted. All have a chance here. We did well after the draft IMO, FWIW.

Justyn Ross who I thought Miami should take at 102 didn't get drafted.

Re: Undrafted Rookie Signings Update
Eagles BTWE signed Noah Elliss despite already having Fletcher Cox and drafting Jordan Davis. This is what smart teams do, instead of taking a QB in the 7th who likely wouldn't have been drafted at all and who wasn't even the best QB available. Noah Elliss will contribute far more to his team in 2022 than Skylar Thompson.
I do agree with Hal that the UDFA haul was certainly better than the day 3 flotsam. Grier should've pulled a Hal and traded all the day 3 picks for picks next year. IMO he could've gotten a 3rd next year for the 4th and traded the two 7ths for a 6th. Would rather have had them sign Ryan Stonehouse if they wanted a punter, though. Stonehouse would've had a real chance of beating out Morstead.

UPDATE: Dolphins sign Idaho WR Tanner Connor, who is 6'3" 226 and IMO is better than that Ebenezer dude they drafted in the 4th over Zach Tom.

Conner had a 4.37 40. That's lightning for someone that size!

Re: Undrafted Rookie Signings Update
Miami has been pursuing multiple centers (update: they signed Clary), but as of 7 p.m. wasn’t involved in the pursuit of Alec Lindstrom, who played for the Dolphins’ new offensive line coach Matt Applebaum at Boston College. Lindstrom agreed to terms with the Dallas Cowboys.

i wonder why no love for Lindstrom? does Applebaum know something the Cowboys don't?

Re: Undrafted Rookie Signings Update
I like Conner. He needs to develop but he has speed and size.
Even though Miami re-signed some of their LBs, it seems they are setting up some serious competition for the LB spots?
Clary will not beat out Dieter THIS YEAR IMO, but he has some quick feet and his blocking awareness is good. I think he might develop into the starter...maybe... And then again, the Phins might be bringing in a Vet free agent to start?
Like I said in some thread... I had the feeling Grier was making it LOOK like O-line was what he was after? He had his board set up far differently than most of us Phans.
It still remains to be seen if his board was better than "ours".
But when you put Ty Hill as the 1st round pick... I will give him a pass I guess.

This looks to be a really strong UDFA class for the Phins. I could see several of these guys making the team.

I'm really liking the Verone McKinley signing. Surprised he wasn't drafted. I can definitely see him carving out a role in nickel and dime packages right out of the gate.
