We'll see where this wild trip ends, but I guarantee that we are going to go further this season as a result of these 2 trades.  Just a fantastic job by Grier to get these deals done.

Both players have energized the team.  You can see how the players respond to both Wilson and Chubb.  Their impact on the locker room is just as important as their on-field production.

I admit to being lukewarm about the Chubb trade at first, but watching the difference he made last week - against a very, very good Browns OL - convinced me.  And Wilson...just WOW.  he is exactly what the offense was missing.

As for the past trades...I always liked Hugh Green.  Injuries derailed his career, but he was a legit player.

I remember being excited about getting Green too, but I was also thinking something wasn't right, the Bucs surely wouldn't have given him up so easily. I also remember him getting injured in the infamous 51-45 Jets loss, and he wasn't the same player after that even though he hung around for another 5 years.

Yeah, nothing the Phins did worked to fix a bad defense. They kept trying at least...
Shula was just too old school and supported his coaches when he probably should have cleaned house a time or two.

It's a shame they could never get Dan back to another SB.
