You don't think Joe Tippmann will be available at 51? Neither do I TBH. But other than that it's a very thorough list

I thought about including Tippmann and probably should have. Adding him now. I'm going to list him as OL, because even though he's viewed as a center, I can't wrap my head around a 6'6" center!

Good call! But at 84 only, not at 51.
Methinks there's a reason Jmp put O'Cyrus Torrence at the very top of the list. He's now at the top of mine too. I'd even take him over Washington if both are available.
I just hope Grier doesn't do something crazy like trade up...

DJ Turner CB. He's my pick. A little undersized in the weight department but I see him adding 10lbs of muscle in the next few years. Instant nickel back. 4.26 forty. Fluid motion.

I also think DT depth would be nice, but not on day two. Grier needs to come away with at least one if not two immediate starters to make up for last year's dud of a class. DT depth can still be had on day 3 IMO. Brodric Martin would be a nice day 3 get. Jaquelin Roy might even still be available. What does everybody think about Dante Stills?

bite your tongue...Jeff Dellenbach was 6'6"
of course, Marino was 6'4" - not a knock on Tua, but putting a 6'6" in front of him probably wouldn't be wise.

There is a clear line of demarcation between 1994 and before, and every year since in terms of this team's ability to evaluate O-line talent. IDK what happened but *something* significant did.

Re: DRAFT: available players for day 2
A few lower down the draft maybe... RB Zach Evans. OTs Blake Freeland. Bergeron, Duncan, Steen
CBs - Ricks, Stevenson, Rush, Phillips.
Another Guard candidate - GA's Warren McLendon - He can play RT but may move into Guard early on.
One dark horse candidate - Derek Hall, EDGE from Auburn. This dude was the heart and soul of Auburn's D. Think Zach Thomas' intensity but in a more athletic physique! Fangio would LOVE Derek Hall!
But at #51, yeah, I HOPE it is Torrence, but no way no how he gets by the teams above Miami in the 2nd IMO.
I am hopeful Grier trades down for more picks this year and/or next.

Re: DRAFT: available players for day 2
Looking at the list at the top, I'd be really tempted to trade down and get more picks. There's a lot of good players left that can help the Phins. Of course, if Torrance or Washington are at 51...I'd be more tempted to stay and take one of them! All in all, though, the Phins appear to be in a good position for tonight.

Grier will screw it up somehow. I am MORE than certain of that. The only question is, how badly and in what way? I say it'll be passing up Torrence AND Washington at 51 not to trade down, but to take some other random guy who none of us had in any of our mocks at a position the Fins don't even remotely need. It just seems so...Grierish.
You know the draft is here when the Potentate Of Pessimism rises from his slumber once again!

Will Levis would be a fantastic pick in the second round.

What did I say?
WHAT DID I SAY?!?!
And the REALLY sad part is, I'm not displaying the least bit of ESP or psychic ability. At this point it's like predicting the sun will rise in the morning.
