Two of the worst teams in the NFL team off against each other in Miami's home opener.

I remember a game against the browns a few years back and the stadium was packed with browns fans. The dog pound was in full effect that afternoon. Say what you will about Cleveland, but they travel well. I'm sure a great number of them were transplants, but quite a few were from out of town and traveled in for the game. I still remember seeing the droves upon droves of brown's fans coming off the busses in the parking lot. What that has to do with today's game? Absolutely nothing. Just will be interesting to see if the browns are in the game, how vocal their contingency will be.

All the more reason for the Dolphins to come out strong in this game, instead of doing their usual sleepwalk routine. No reason for the Phins not to destroy this team...they weren't good to begin with, and now they're missing some of their top players.

This is a joke we are playing our home opener against the worst team in the league that has been brutalized with injury and we are losing becasue we have a pathetic QB.

I guess I'm glad about the win but if losing out means moving on from Tannehill I would rather lose out.

Update to last week's assessment:

We can actually win a game if we get:

1) One of the two weakest teams in the league at home
2) Missing their top 2 QB's
3) Also missing their kicker, whose replacement....
4) misses three makeable field goals for them

Well, under those circumstances, we can actually win a game!  I expected the team to look better as the season goes on, and I would certainly hope so.  They'd just about have to.

Also, Terrelle Pryor looks like he'd be our best QB AND second best WR behind Landry.

Really don't think we could beat the Browns on the road.

We had serious issues on the right side of the line today. That strip sack near the end of the game was as close as you can come to whiffing while actually being engaged. That guy just went right around the tackle, right to the ball.

Defense is really not good either.

I'll give their rookie QB credit though, he did decent considering the circumstances.

24-13 in the 4th and nearly lose. There's just not enough good on this team. The offensive line, by the way, has a ways to go, and I think the first thing to address there is center, because Pouncey is officially injury-prone and unreliable (as well as overrated).

After finding out what happened (or almost happened) I'm actually more convinced this team will be 1-15 than I was before. Browns gonna Brown. Against literally any other team this is a loss.

If anything a loss would've been better, since now Ross and Tannenbaum can still pretend everything's fine Rolling Eyes We all know this "win" means nothing. You can't even say for sure the Fins are better than the Browns, just luckier.

The Browns and Fins are probably the two best examples of why the NFL needs to contract instead of expand, and why a soccer-style relegation system is badly needed.

Any way they can figure out how to get the second half Ryan to show up in the first half?

That certainly seems to be the general sentiment of the net. Even people who claim to have supported him up to now have finally seen the light. Or the darkness, however you want to interpret it.

For some reason I can't quote posts but which ever one of you magnificent bastards predicted 1-15 I'm on the wagon. Problem is I cannot under any circumstance root to lose against the Bengals. So 2-14 will be the goal.

That would be me Cool Obvious signs were obvious.

BTW the last two times this team lost to Cincy they finished with 4 and one win, the two worst seasons since the merger. Just sayin'.

Oddly enough, I truly think if the Bengals win, it'll be a close one. That team has never scared or impressed me. If anything I've been in disbelief about them being as good as they have lately.
