Ajayi's first game as an Eagle

So far, Jay has 5 carries for 69 yards...including a 46-yard TD.

Just sayin'.

This is the conversation that a competent GM/HC/head of football operations would have had:

"So, we've got a 1,272 yard rusher who could put your team over the top this year. He's under his rookie contract for the next year and a half. Could be the final piece of the puzzle for you. We want a second round pick."
"We will give you a fourth rounder, and no more."
"Ok, well, I guess we'll just keep him then. Maybe Washington will want to offer a little more. Have a good day." (hangs up phone)

Of course, this is not the conversation that actually took place. With the Dolphins, it never is.
