Sounds like the Bengals. They kept Andy Dalton how long and have not been to the superbowl.

Andy Dalton at least had them in the playoffs 5 years in a row. Sad to say, the Bengals look like the Patriots compared to the Dolphins.

They should just finish the job and cut Tanny,pouncey,Jones and just get it over, Than we can sit back and watch the car crash of a season that is coming.

Hey btw did anyone notice the Seahawks put a first round tender on Dion Jordan? He may pan out after all.

I'm honestly not blaming the regime for this one. Jordan was nothing but a total flake in Miami. We had given him more than enough chances.

However, still will be kind of ironic if Suh and Jordan lead a top 5 defense in Seattle this year...

Jordan wasnt good enough to move up for. He was a second rounder at best. miami's front office is to gullible IMO. it like telling your child something when they are little and see if they will believe it or not. That was happens to Miami. I not saying Jordan was a horrible pick I saying he wasn't first round material

Yeah, Jordan crashed and burned in Miami.  He was never going to do anything here.  The change of scenery was exactly what he needed.  I still wouldn't trust him, but at least he's made progress.  Good for him...not an easy thing to change your life like that.

Suh-Jordan together on a top defense would definitely be ironic - and so Dolphins!

Has anyone else noticed how quiet it's been regarding Suh next destination? I don't think I've seen anything other than rumors, certainly no free agent visit yet. It's been about 5 days since we cut him. Odd.

It is a bit odd. But supposedly he talked with Pete Carroll by phone, and he's planning visits with the Saints and Titans. My guess is that a lot of teams need to regroup after the initial feeding frenzy before they hand out another mega-contract.

Yes, please go back to the NFC. Last thing I need is him in the AFC East.

Suh against whoever the Fins trot out in the interior O-line would literally be the biggest mismatch in the history of sports. We're talking Tecmo Bowl-style lurching every play. Google it, it was a thing back in the day. He'd put Tannehill and his backup out for the season.

Jordan put up 4 sacks in 5 games last season. Good for him. First time he's done anything after 5 years in the league. If he works out there, fine.

Suh is visiting the Rams.  Can you imagine a DL with Suh and Aaron Donald??? Damn!!! I'm not sure of the fit, though, since the Rams play mostly 3-4...maybe Suh at DE?

Suh isn't fast enough to play DE. He will have to play the 2 slot at DT.

He's not fast enough to be a 4-3 DE, but IMO he can definitely play 3-4 DE. 3-4 DEs need to be strong at the point of attack...create space for the LBs. Speed and pass rush skills are a bonus, but not required.

Agreed. He could also shed a few pounds if he wants to get faster. I think Suh would be a BEAST as a 3-4 DE.

Yep...especially if he's playing for Wade Phillips with the Rams. Wade will know how to get the most out of him.

Yep, the Jets are making a big push for Suh and have reportedly blown the competition out of the water with $$$. We all know Suh loves his money, so this could be a reality.

The story I'm hearing here in NY is that the Jets didn't want to be used as leverage for Suh, so their offer to him came with a deadline. When Suh failed to respond by the deadline, they pulled the offer. The thinking is that Suh was just using the Jets to get more money from the Rams. If that's true, I think the Jets played it right - no need to be held hostage by any player.

You may be right about that. That's one guy I don't need to see twice a season. You know he's probably pissed about getting cut, and he'd probably break Tannehill in half.
