Yep. Mahomes improvises. Gase can't handle that. Gase wants a robot, not someone that can think for himself and make his own decisions on the fly.

Philbin would have never let Mahomes be drafted, and if he was, he'd be on the bench. Mahomes has a bit of personality, and that drives Philbin crazier than gum wrappers on the field.
