It's really simple, actually. It was a walkthrough and the practice team was going full speed, if the initial report is to be taken as true. It's just shit people say at practice to each other. It's what happens. Coaches tell the other side to lighten up all the time if they're trying to install something or they need a guy to get positive reps. It's what happens.

All kinds of shit is said in practice.

And most QBs are primadonnas, well, at least the good ones are. They put on a nice public face, but they're all bitches.

Hot on the heels of a report that says Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill mocked Miami's practice squad players comes an interesting anecdote about Tom Brady.

(In case you missed it, a source told FOX Sports that Tannehill became angry after a practice squad intercepted one of his passes last Saturday.)

Former NFL wide receiver Donte Stallworth, who played with Brady in New England in 2007 and 2012, says that the Patriots quarterback would actually reward practice squad players who would turn him over.

And this is what Dan Campbell was talking about yesterday. The Patriots have an environment where even the best player on the team welcomes and encourages challenges and competition. Unlike the Dolphins, where players are yelled at and disciplined for trying too hard. If you want to know reasons why the Pats are champs and the Phins are chumps, that's one right there.

He's been coasting from day one. And why shouldn't he? In his own mind, he's already exceeded his own expectations. He was a converted wide receiver. He wanted to play some football for a while then go onto his next career, preferably in his field of study, orthopedics. He got married, got a nice paycheck, then got it renewed. Anything at this point is gravy for him. If he was fired tomorrow he would consider himself a tremendous success. THAT is what lowering the bar gets you.

Also, is anybody else sick and tired people treating other people like shit and then when the world finds out about it, acting all shocked and genuinely believing THEY'RE the victim? Or is it just me? If you're going to be a jerkass then be a jerkass. And realize it's the second decade of the 21st century, privacy is now an outdated, antiquated concept and people will know everything you do because information age, yada yada.
