I Cannot Make This Stuff Up...

Someone on a Jets message board I just happened to be visiting out of spite curiosity showed me a stat that absolutely blew my mind.

In the now over 2.5 seasons of Robert Saleh's Jets tenure, he is 12-20 with Zach Wilson starting...and 3-10 when he doesn't! Yes, that incudes the opener which officially counts as a Rodgers "win".

But yeah, Zach Wilson is what's holding this team back

My point isn't that Wilson's secretly good (he's not) but that Saleh's been outed as a fake tough guy coward who's determined to refuse any and all accountability until the bitter end. Like pretty much anybody else in a position of "leadership" in the 2020s honestly. And now he can't hide behind Zach Wilson anymore...

But hey, when he cut that 3rd string RB he sure showed the team who the boss was!

now, now, Saleh's a good coach who has just run into some bad luck. Jests should bring him back.

And while I'm at it, Belichick's track record absolutely demands that New England keep him around to give him a chance to right this ship!

Robert Saleh = Dave Dumbstedt?

Build a good defense but have a crap offense.

The Jets have a fairly good GM I think, so I think this is all a coaching thing.

And yes, please keep Saleh.

Jets & Pats need to keep there Current Coaches for Years to come, It Will be to our Benefit.

Joe Douglas is a terrible GM. The real GM for the Jets, though, is Aaron Rodgers. He's the reason they have Hackett as OC, Boyle as QB, Cobb and Lazard as WRs, Turner as OT, Cook as RB...and all those guys absolutely SUCK.

BTW, Saleh does not = Wannstedt. Wannstedt had back to back 11-5 seasons - with an inherited team, but still. Saleh needs a couple of seasons to get to 11.
