Game Day Fins vs Jets

It's going to be a sloppy night in NJ. We had a day of light snow and rain and temps will be in upper 30s making a sloppy field. 2 broken and batter teams with backup QBs but it means the season for the Fins. I just stopped by my favorite brewery of a bottle for the game.

I am definitely jacked up for this one...a HUGE game against the hated Jets.

I'm going to pick the Phins to win in a sloppy, low-scoring game...maybe 13-6 or something like that.

BUT...

I don't feel very confident that the Phins will win. Historically, this is a game they always lose. I don't trust Moore, and I don't trust the defense against a very strong runner in Bilal Powell. Keep an eye on Jets' WR Robby Anderson. He is Petty's favorite target and he could be trouble for the Dolphin D. Hopefully the Phins don't come out flat and fall behind early.

Got some Molson Canadians lined up in the fridge for this one...

Meh. It'll be colder and a lot wetter where I live tonight. Around 25 degrees with severe rain.

The more I think about it, the more I actually like that this game's tonight. I'll be watching a UFC card and not even thinking about it until around midnight or so.

Did they just say Romo could go to the dolphins?

Not looking like a playoff team. Jay need to find some holes. He is just getting stuffed at the line.

That goal line situation is why I posted about the short game. We can't continually march to the one or two and get stuffed if we are ever going to make the next step!

2 minutes in the half and Miami tries to move the ball with Moore. With Tanny they run the clock and don't try anything.

They need to step it up in the 2nd half and put this game away. Need to get the running game going. C and the right side is pitiful.

Andrew Franks needs to go the fuck away.

Very nice "taking care of business" win in the making. Next week sure to be tougher, but no matter what happens it sure feels nice to have a winning season for the first time in 8 years.

Running game sucked but great win and sweep of the Jets.

Moore had a hell of a game, even with the awful pick. Still can't run, and that needs to get fixed. The Jets have completely given up on their coach, so this was a nice beat down that we absolutely needed to do. 9-5, wow, didn't think I was going to say that this season. Hats off to Gase and company for keeping the guys focused against a terrible team.

First sweep of the Jets in seven years and only the third sweep of them this century.

Also, most points scored VS the Jets in 16 years, only this time they won

Not too bad for a team everyone said would lose and a QB everyone said would choke

Keep in mind this team swept the Fins by a combined 31 points last season. It's safe to say, this isn't last season

If the Fins miss the playoffs it's definitely all Tannenbaum's fault and he must be treated accordingly.

I agree with you, but it's hard to discredit the man who pieced together a roster that has won more games than any other Dolphins team since 2008!.  I personally do not like Tannebaum at all but, this win assures that he will be around for another year at least.  I would much rather give the credit to the coaches and players on this team.

Since week 5 this team has gone 8-1!!!!!!  This team has been very resilient if you ask me.
