I thought their draft was excellent - one of the best IMO. Strange timing.

McDermott wants his own guys in there. Really looks bad when guys are doing a good job.

It was probably too late to bring in a new GM and scouts by the time they hired McDermott...not enough time before the draft. Either way, this draft really improved the roster.

See Ross? It's not that hard...

But seriously, only the Bills would fire the GM right after what apparently was their best draft in years Rolling Eyes Very Happy

That is shady as hell. It's not like they weren't "thinking about" firing him before the draft. They used him to get the draft done and dumped him. My question is if his draft board was that bad, they had to know who he was looking at. If it was not bad in their opinion, then why do you fire the guy. Must be more to the story.

Could be the owner or Team President "requested" a certain pick and he said, fuck you, I am picking who the hell I want to. If you don't like it, then fire me. I am just being facetious on the shady part. I know it is business. Teams do it all the time. Use the "knowledge" of someone before dumping him.

Anyways, who really gives a shit, it's the fuckin jills.

The Bills probably got 3 opening day starters - and GOOD starters, not just bodies - with their first three picks. Then they added a special teams demon in LB Matt Milano, who could one day earn a starting LB job. And, they got a solid developmental QB. PLUS...they added a first round pick in 2018. With only 6 picks this weekend, they made the most of them and got a helluva lot better.
