Titans Fire GM
Okay pipe dream time
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/12/06/titans-fire-g-m-jon-robinson/
Interim GM for now, with the team to hire a new GM this offseason. Let's dream shall we? Let's say the new GM has a head coach in waiting, and wants to go a different direction from Vrabel. Let's also assume Vrabel is unable to land another head coaching job. Maybe the timing is off, or the opportunities don't fit, or the search for a GM takes so long jobs are filled. Something like that transpires.
I would LOVE to hire Vrabel in a hot minute to run our defense. Even if it's just for one season while he grooms an understudy. With his record, if he's off the head coaching market I think it would be for one season max. That's fine. Install the scheme, get some immediate benefit, and spend the season preparing his replacement for when he leaves.
I know it's a pipe dream - but I'm in!

When you dream, W1, you dream BIGLY!!!
I think it a lot more likely they toss Tannehill and go after Aaron Rodgers and keep Vrabel.
Robinson didn't do that bad a job drafting, but the whole dealing Brown away thing is a hard pill to swallow I think. Especially since Brown is blowing up in Philly!
How about kicking Grier to the curb and bringing in Robinson?

What in the actual fuck...
We're talking about the same team that's comfortably in first in their division and just a game worse than the Fins, right?
Well that's it then. This officially sets the precedent. Nothing short of at least one playoff win should save Grier's job.

I got stuck with 4 more years of Trashman running the Yanks. Grier is going no place. He is Ross's pet.

Neutral
I'd *almost* consider it, but that trade of AJ Brown has me just as shook as Vrabel. You don't trade off elite playmakers on offense, that's not how to win.
For all the good he's done building that roster, for me that move alone eliminates him from consideration.

Re: Titans Fire GM
He traded AJ Brown But how about having one of the best young and exciting TE's in the game but you label him as a blocking bust and relegate him to backup duties with a Franchise Tag than expect him to haul in a critical 4th down with the game on the line and a crap throw.

Oh, God no! Robinson built a one-dimensional team built around one player...and when that one player doesn't produce or doesn't play, they have no chance to win. And, that one player is not even a QB...it's a RB in an era where RBs are a dime a dozen. That's a team that defines the term "treading water". I'll take Grier any day over him.

That's on McDaniel more than it is Grier.

To be fair, this team can't do a damn thing when Tua's not playing or having an off day. Just sayin'.

As much as I want Grier gone, I have to agree with this. Fair is fair.
