NFL rule change: pass interference can now be reviewed

Love it...especially the fact that it's only in place for one season. That gives the league a chance to see how it works before committing to the change. Definitely adds to the strategy of the game.
The NFL owners voted on Tuesday evening to approve a rule proposal that allows for offensive and defensive pass interference, including non-calls, to be subject to review.
Coaches can challenge those calls in the first 28 minutes of each half. In the final two minutes of each half, those calls will be subject to a booth review.
This rule change is only for the 2019 season.

Meh. Now games will be delayed even longer than they already are while the officials still get the call wrong.

You can challenge the call all the way up until we need to keep the fix money on the house side.

Pretty much defeats the whole purpose of the change, doesn't it? I love modern life. Constantly implementing cosmetic changes that don't actually make things better but the people who make them get to claim they tried.

There's a lot of money on these games. One would be a fool to put things completely to chance.
I mean, nothing's ever fixed and all this stuff is played out on its own merit with no outside interference at all.
