Fitzmagic in action - you MUST watch this video!

Hopefully you guys have seen some of the video clips Anthony Saba makes, highlighting specific Dolphin plays. If you haven't, this is a great place to start.  

This week, he posted the second Fitzpatrick TD from Sunday.  What Fitz does here is next-level, Jedi Mind Trick shit.  I'm not even going to say anything else...just watch and be amazed:



It's too bad Fitz was never able to play with any consistency, because plays like this make you realize just how smart and talented he really is.  This is the definition of "savvy veteran play".  There's less than a handful of QBs in the league that would even think to do this, let alone pull it off.

If he could have been consistently accurate, at least he would have reached the level of Chad Pennington. Unfortunately, he doesn't have that at his command all the time. When he's on, he's really on though. He's always been like that.

That was really an amazing play.

The difference is Pennington had a better OL than Fitz has at the moment. if Fitz could stay in the pocket just a second or two longer Miami would be a different team

Overall, yes, Pennington was the better QB. But Fitz has these brief stretches where he is excellent. Like last season when he was arguably the best QB in the entire NFL for a few weeks. Pennington NEVER played at that level. But of course, most of the time Fitz ranges between terrible and mediocre. Pennington was never up and down like that - he was always consistently solid, and even learned to adapt his game when his arm was shot.
