Preston Williams on IR, will miss 3+ games

Huge loss. Time for Callaway and the rookies to step up.

Grant will have to take on a bigger role now...seems like he and Tua have some chemistry so that may be a good thing.

Not sure how anyone can say Grant and bigger in the same sentence.

Grant needs to be used laterally down the field underneath clearing routes. Get him the ball moving laterally and let him work his magic. Put him in situations that mimic punt returns where he has the ball in uncontested space and has a chance to get at it with a full head of steam. It's a tactic that's been used forever, and I would hope that Chan Gailey would partake in such a thought process with his plethora of experience.

That is a great way to put it. We saw against the Cards that Gailey can design red zone plays that leave receivers wide open (Williams TD, Smythe over the middle, etc.) If he can do that between the 20s with Grant, it's a big play waiting to happen.
