Dolphins 2021 Week 1 game revealed

The more things change, the more things indeed do stay the same. The 2021 Week 1 schedule has been unveiled ahead of tonight’s full schedule release and the Miami Dolphins will be facing a familiar foe — it has been reported that the Dolphins will be traveling north to play the Patriots in Week 1. The game is currently scheduled to be one of two AFC contests to kick off in the 4PM window.

I bet that two TE Pats offense eats the Dolphins Defense's lunch!!!

Flores doesn't have a very good record for his defense on the openers. Over 600 yards to the Ravens in 2019 and then let Cam and Co rush for 217 yards last season. I swear it looked like the Defense thought Cam Newton was not a rush threat!

We shall see. No excuses this year. Most of the defenders have been in the system for at least a year. If the defense can play well, and Tua is out of the ditch, the Phins definitely got a shot.

Please for the love of God beat the friggen Giants and Jets. Don't attack me but man I hope Tanny gets sacked a dozen times and throws 5 ints.

I’m not worried about Pats offense. Make Cam throw he cannot beat you especially with their receivers. We have tons of guys in our secondary that can cover the TE sets - if we don’t it’s on coaching.

Smother the run to make them one dimensional. Then rush Cam while ensuring he can’t break out with his legs.

What worries me is their defense. The cure? Bring a power rushing attack to NE. It will be the first they witnessed in a very, very long time. We have that talent up front. Play smash mouth with Tua taking shots when the opportunities are there. Hit Fuller deep. Hit TE on play action. This will work.

Hell yeah!!! Crush the Giants and Jets! Knock Tannehill on his ass again, and again and again!!!

The Jets suck - no excuses - gotta kick their ass twice.

The Giants could be much improved - but the Miami D should be able to smother Daniel Jones and force a bunch of turnovers.

The Titan's D is awful. Key to beating them hasn't changed: take Henry out and make Tannehill one-dimensional. Take away the play action, and he's nothing. Easier said than done, but that team doesn't scare me.

Agreed. I think the Dolphins are the tougher team right now. Punch them in the face right out of the gate, and keep pounding them. Getting them early in the season is a big advantage IMO - they have a TON of new players and it's going to take time for them to gel. They won't be firing on all cylinders week one.
