Dolphins at Ravens predictions

on October 26, 2017, i was offered free tickets to go see my beloved Phins play the Ravens. it was a Thursday night game and i new i wouldn't get home until late so i took off work the next day and donned my Dolphins gear. what i witnessed that night was one of the most inept, pathetic displays of supposed football that i had ever seen. the Dolphins were so bad that even the Ravens' fans felt more sorry for the Phins that they felt threatened. it was embarrassing. well, until it turned repulsive with the Kiko Alonso intentional cheap shot to Joe Flacco's head.

so i was again offered free tickets to tomorrow night's game in Baltimore. i politely turned them down. i have no desire to see this debacle in person. and frankly, not even sure i want to stomach it on TV - although i'm pretty sure i'll punish myself with at least the first half. i don't have any hope for this contest (using that word liberally).

Dolphins -6
Ravens - 34

Brissett gets the start because Flores hates Tua. Brissett gets pulled after 3 picks and a fumble. The game, already over, the team demoralized, Tua doesn't fare much better.

You really think the score will be that close??? I thought white1 was the only optimist around here

Ravens by 40. If they're in a good mood. This is probably the worst possible Thursday night matchup the NFL could possibly present.

The only good news is that at leas the weekly torture will be over early.

You forgot the part where afterwards the media blames everything on Tua and guarantees the Fins will trade all their first round picks the next 3 seasons for Watson, only because the NFL won't allow any picks to be traded more than 3 years in advance.

The Ravens defense sucks, and if Tua starts the Phins will score a bit. But the defense won't have any answers for Lamar Jackson.

Tua is done in Miami. I heard he has a hangnail and can't make all the necessary throws

That's all this season needs is for Flores/Grier to keep making new excuses every week not to play Tua the rest of the way, which would obviously mean they want to keep him preserved for Watson trade bait.

Depends who you ask...that may be the Flores story, but leading up to last week's game Gesicki said Tua looked great in practice - so who knows. Apparently the finger did swell up on Sunday, but I don't know if that's true or just a convenient excuse?

I'd say not yet...but it is seemingly heading in that direction. I don't think it will take much to get to that point.

Ravens have come out flat a number of times this year--the Colts and Vikings games come to mind--only to regroup and win with a late rally. Lamar might well be in line for another MVP award given all the injuries around him and his integral role in winning these games late.

This could well be another of those times, if Tua is able to play. He can make some headway on this defense, but not enough to actually win the game. I think we could be in for a 30-27 surprisingly close game if that's the case.

If not, and Brissett starts it will just be a massacre in favor of the Ravens. I'll go with 34-14 if that's the case.

I am expecting a slaughter.

So if it is anywhere close, that will be unexpected for me.

If the Players are as full of confidence in Flores as I am, they might not want to leave the locker room!

This guy is responsible for this coaching traveshamockery and he keeps talking about the young guys needing to step up!

How about Ross stepping up and telling Flores to shut the eff up and he will hire some REAL coaches that know what they are doing!

If you are gonna kick the Vets to curb and go all out young, you do not do that without having some solid proven OCs and Oline coaching in place.

I Think the Last Time we beat the Ravens was 2007 on a Certain Catch , Maybe Mr 316 can find that Video .

Well, it sounds like Tua will be out again...so prepare for the worst. This game should get ugly in a hurry.

I really do have a feeling that Tua will be 'out" of every game the rest of the season, for...reasons.

When Tua and other players confided in the trainer that Flores isn't liked it caused a rift in the locker room. Tua being the big name is paying the price. Firing Flores would be the best thing we could do even before the season is over. Followed in quick succession with Grier.

The Ravens love to blitz...Brissett is going to get destroyed tonight. I wonder if Tua will be the backup or if we'll activate Jake Dolegala? In a game that looks to be a nightmare for the Dolphins, it would at least be sort of interesting to see a 6'7", 240 pound QB!

With Tua out I've changed my prediction. Ravens by 50.

Knowing Ross he will fire Flores and keep Grier to hire the replacement.....

Prediction now Ravens 30, Dolphins 14, with a late garbage time TD being the only reason for the second score.
