If The Pass Rush...
Can't get to Fields, who is not only the league's most sacked QB but has a historically horrible sack percentage of over 16 percent, then they should seriously be ashamed and maybe a coach should be fired, players cut, etc. And yes, I know I just said how I hate to see coaches get thrown under the bus mid-season but this is a situation where no less than 2 sacks would be acceptable. And that's the absolute bare minimum if Fields hardly ever passes! If he has just 20 dropbacks, being sacked twice would actually be well BELOW his current sack percentage!
This isn't even Burrow territory we're talking about, believe it or not Burrow is only being sacked around HALF as often as Fields

Fields is one helluva runner though. Gotta be real careful when you go after him, because if you miss - he's gone. Other than that, he's a total disaster at QB. This is a game the D needs to dominate for 60 minutes - really no excuses.

The Bears ran well against Dallas which has been an excellent defense this year.
I'm not saying we CAN'T dominate them, but it's going to take an excellent performance, good game plan and solid execution.

Yep, priorities 1, 2 and 3 on defense should be to prevent Fields from running. I'd sell out to stop him...let him attempt to beat you with his arm.
With that in mind, I wonder if Tindall gets to play this week? We could use his speed to help with Fields.
Re: If The Pass Rush...
My guess is Boyer plays the drop back zone and puts a spy on Fields.
So, the bend but don't break philosophy, also known as the "prevent a victory" defense Boyer favors will be prevalent.
This is another game the Phins SHOULD win, but all it will take is another shiite-like effort by the Defense early on and Da'Bears get a lead and start believing and then... Who knows?
Be real nice to see the Offense come out and score some TDs early and not look like a cluster-fudge with dumbarsed pre-snap penalties!

Re: If The Pass Rush...
Willie McGinest thinks this is a great deal for the Phins.
Who are you going to double, who are you going to let a TE chip or a RB help block; Chubb, or Phillips.
Plus, if they do try and double Chubb or Phillips, Seiler, Wilkins and/or Davis will suddenly become
a QB pressure/sack threat.
Theoretically anyway.
Let's hope Boyer is clever enough to realize when you have access to one, the best way to use one is to...
"Release the Kracken!!"
Let's hope Fields gets well acquainted with the Kracken.

Re: If The Pass Rush...
Adding a legit pass rusher like Chubb will also help with this damn zone defense that we are forced to play because we have no DBs. If he can help pressure the QB without having to all-out blitz, that gives the DBs a fighting chance.
