Dolphins add veteran pass rush help!

The Phins have signed edge rushers Justin Houston, Bruce Irvin and Malik Reed. Houston was with the Panthers for a bit this year, Irvin was with the Lions, and Reed was with the Phins in training camp.

Houston (34 years old, 112 career sacks) and Irvin (36 years old, 56.5 career sacks) were signed to the active roster, and Reed (who had his best seasons under Fangio in Denver) was added to the practice squad.

Houston and Irvin were both GREAT players in their prime. Of course they aren't what they once were, but both are smart, savvy veterans that have seen it all. These are both excellent signings, considering that it is January 9 and we are absolutely desperate.
