Not really a surprise, but worth monitoring.

...the Dolphins made a roster move on Thursday, placing cornerback Nik Needham on the active/PUP list.

Needham tore his Achilles in a Week 6 game against the Minnesota Vikings last year, as he was playing a larger role with Byron Jones out after an Achilles tear of his own.

He was present at spring practices but was far from participating fully, so he’ll continue to rehab and work on the side before returning to the practice field.

Until then, Kader Kohou and Cam Smith will likely compete for opportunities at the third cornerback spot.

that's too bad for Nik. an Achilles tear is next to impossible for a speed position to recover from. hoping the best for him, but also hoping Kohou and Cam Smith are ready to step up.
