I know, I know, reddit. But there are stll some places there where posters are surprisingly rational and adult. Or at least as much as people can be on the modern internet. Lots of juicy stuff, but the important one is this.

Miami will also go Offensive Line in the first round. They've been connected to Troy Fautanu.

And here are some more eyebrow raisers.

Graham Barton may go higher than Amarius Mims as well as Tyler Guyton.

Jackson Powers-Johnson may not go into the first round.

Braden Fiske may sneak into the first round.

Marshawn Kneeland could go into the first round.

New England is not high on Drake Maye and prefer J.J McCarthy.

No Safeties or Linebackers will go day 1.

Coaches are not high on Quinyon Mitchell and show more interest in Terrion Arnold and Nate Wiggins.

Javon Baker, Javon Foster, Sedrick Van Pran, Mohamed Kamara, are all seen as Day 3 picks.

What do you guys think? It'll be interesting to see how many of these actually come true

I don't see Quinyon Mitchell dropping, but I am hearing more and more positive news about Terrion Arnold.

Fiske will go in the first - agreed.  

Several OLBs (edge rushers) will go in the first - but no inside/middle LBs.  No safeties will go in the first either - unless you have DeJean as a safety.

I see the Pats going Daniels, but if the Commanders take him then they'll go with McCarthy.

I still think JPJ could go in the first.

Not sure if he actually will, but Graham Barton should absolutely go higher than Amarius Mims and Tyler Guyton. Mims and Guyton might have more upside, but Barton has more experience and more versatility. IMO, Mims and Guyton are boom or bust prospects - Barton is a guy that at the very least should be a solid starter for a long time.

I think Grier is going to go EDGE, WR or CB with that first pick. Unless one of the big name OTs drops to him. I am including Fautanu in that group.

LOL No! Each NFL team can bring up to 30 players in for a visit that includes meetings, interviews and a physical. The NFL calls those players a team's "Top 30".

I had literally never seen the term "30 visits" before. I'm usually great at interpreting context and reading comprehension (I read the Lord Of The Rings trilogy by age 10) but as presented it doesn't do a good job of describing what it really is. 30 player visits would be so much better and clearer.

Also add CB Jarrian Jones, from FSU. He visited with the Phins today.

“We feel there will be one or two players we really like there,” he said. “We feel there will be an impact player there we really like. We feel very good about the players there at 21” even though, “as of now, we do not have 21 first round grades” on 21 players.

Grier said his philosophy remains to take “the best player available that can impact us in round one, if we have that pick. First couple rounds, you’re going to take the best available player.”

He said the Dolphins have had trade talks, which are typical.

the only position he said Miami would not consider in Rd. 1 was QB.

Then it is settled... The Phins will draft Pennix and trade Tua!!

My guess is there will be five or six terrific picks available to the Phins and Grier will choose to pick someone else.

It sounds like offensive line has been a specific focus for the Dolphins throughout the pre-draft process. (Barry) Jackson notes that the organization has hosted a number of offensive linemen who are considered late first-round picks, but the organization hasn’t done the same for defensive players in the same tier. While Jackson warns that the front office wouldn’t willingly show their hand, it seems pretty clear that the Dolphins are leaning towards OL depth in the first round.

We'll find out in half a year less than a week if any of this predraft visit stuff actually means anything. If my experience from past years proves true, it doesn't. Teams bring in certain players as a smokescreen, every other team knows it's a smokescreen and knows that other teams know, but they all do it anyway because it's always been done and the narcissistic need to look smarter than everyone else is greater than ever. And then when the draft finally rolls around and players get picked they say the same thing--they never had a single visit with the team that drafted them.

Then again it's not as if there's a desperate crying need to replace Hunt or anything. Somehow Jack Driscoll, Robert Jones and Eich just aren't moving the needle for me. Interior O-line SHOULD be one of the first two picks regardless. And I don't want to read anything about "depth" players in the first round either. You want depth players, then trade out of the first and get more picks in that massive chasm between 55 and 158 currently existing.
