He is an absolute MONSTER, over 6'7" and 330. He is the left tackle of the future, but not sure how he fits in this season. Very interesting selection. The upside is there, I just was not expecting a LT - at all. Not even on my radar.

I need time to digest this one. I do like him...just totally unexpected for me.

This pick was so bad in fact that it's completely changed my opinion of the Robinson pick and now I'm saying he's a bust. Yet another wasted, throwaway draft. Maybe this time Grier will finally be fired after the season.

What I'm seeing on Paul so far:

Best pass protecting tackle in college football last year, according to PFF (for what that's worth).

Very athletic with enormous strength and a huge wingspan.

Needs to get better at run blocking.

Needs to improve overall technique.

Without knowing much about him, my take: if this is indeed our left tackle of the future, it's an outstanding pick. If he develops quickly, he may see the field this season if/when Armstead gets hurt. Another boom or bust pick, I guess. But I'm OK taking a chance on a HUGE Tackle with great athleticism. I was hoping for a player that will contribute right away, but a potential future LT is a very good thing IMO.
