OK, just got home.

Jets just took C Joe Tippmann at 43. Good pick for them.

Levis to Titans at 33. Interesting...I don't think he'll amount to anything, especially there.

Still plenty of good players available.

Better them than the Fins, I say!

Not sure what's more insane, the average far leftist's thought process or the Lions' draft board.

I love that too. And it never would've happened if not for the Lions going off the rails causing two first rounders to drop so I guess there's a benefit to that after all Cool

Glad you got home BTW, I was starting to wonder what was going on...

Watching Seinfeld reruns right now BTW, can never go wrong doing that Smile I just couldn't take seeing team after team make pick after pick knowing who I want for the Fins could be snatched up any moment.

I was at my daughter's flag football game. She's not playing because of a wrist injury, but I went for support. I left at the half with her team up 33-0 so my job is done! LOL

(Takes deep breath.) I can handle this...No matter what happens next, I can handle this...

Ah crap, it's not working Evil or Very Mad

BTW I now know Mauch will be good, just because the Bucs took him. Every O-lineman they draft lately works out. Grier should somehow find out which O-linemen they're planning to draft every year and get those guys.

Phins up soon! So many good players left, I think I'd try to trade down a few spots if possible.

I actually love the pick. I had him going in the 1st. Good height and speed, looks to be ideal for zone coverage. We needed a boundary corner, and we got one...no more Iggy! I expect Cam to play a big role right out of the gate.

I loved the bit where I saw he missed a large chunk of last season with a concussion and a hamstring injury. Of course he did. Grier loves his injury prone players Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

A CB!!! With glaring, gaping holes at O-line and TE and even LB too!!!

Grier at this point might as well just trade away the other three picks, because the amount of actual contribution if he makes them will be the same as if he gave them away!!!

He can't keep getting away with this!!!

I think Cam will be able to play several positions in this D, probably starting off in dime situations. I will never forget how bad our secondary was last season - we had no depth at all. Now, we have a strong and deep secondary. This pick has Fangio written all over it.

Hopefully we go Guard in round 3...

I'm guessing Washington and Torrance must have red flags we don't know about...seems like no one wants them.

Well, Grier turned the secondary from a weakness into a strength this offseason. Defense was the biggest issue last season, and Grier has attacked it. I love it.

I really wanted OL, but we can still do that in round 3.

CB was literally the one position on D they DIDN'T need to spend pick 51 on. Fangio's a front 7 guy, why would he bang the table for another CB especially after the Ramsey signing?

The ONLY way this pick can even REMOTELY be justified is if they ditch Iggy ASAP, which I guarantee they won't do.

We do this dance every single year, and every single year I get proven right almost every time.

A player who missed time with a concussion last season *isn't* a red flag??? With the Tua thing hanging over their heads? Once the media finds this out they'll be calling for Cam Smith to retire before minicamp!!!

Giants get John Michael Schmitz because Grier literally refuses to draft a center ever. Evil or Very Mad

Completely disagree. CB was a need. We have X, Ramsey and Kohou. Iggy obviously sucks and Needham and Trill Williams are coming off injuries. CB killed the season last year, and Grier made sure that it won't happen again. In a division with Allen and Rodgers, and a conference loaded with high-powered passing game, you can never have enough corners. Cam Smith is a really good corner and is going to fit this D perfectly.

If you hate Iggy, and I know you do, you should love this pick.
