Re: Week 8 Game Thoughts: Patriots at Dolphins
Nfl.com had some Good Information about this game, Tua was 14-18 189 Yards using Play ACTION the most Tua has done in a Game this Year. Ramsay has the Most Experience in Zone Coverage and he Baited Jones into the Interception by making it look like the Wr was open but he wasn't. Smythe catching 3 Passes across the Middle helped the Passing Game by making the LB's have to come back up opening Passing Lanes behind them. Think the Running Game has suffered due to Williams not playing and than Hunt go down and the Backups seem to have problem getting second level and playing with power.

Yeah, it seemed like the pass protection was pretty good with the backups in - but the OL got no push at all in the run game. Getting Williams, Hunt, and hopefully Armstead back will make a big difference.

The Oline is esentially the same as last year. The difference is the scheme. Short passing, inside zone, quick decision, with a lot of designed shifts and motions. That split second gives the oline that extra split second to set up. With out any of the pre snap stuff Tua is a dead bird.

If the pressure gets to him - yes. But if he has time to read the field and go through his progressions, he'll rip apart any defense. The problem has been that when this OL faces a strong defense there's usually immediate pressure! If the line is finally healthy, we'll see how they do against a stout KC DL.
