I did get my wish!

I am sending Zac Taylor (apparently our new OC) three things today:

1. Giant, bill-board sized sign that says "RUN THE FUCKING BALL".

2. A film containing every running play that either Norv Turner or Chan Gailey ever called while here in Miami.

3. 12 pairs of new shoes for every running back on the roster.

If Tannehill still manages to suck even after Lazor's gone, then that's the final proof anybody should need that he should quit football and be a doctor.

Unfortunately I suspect a 1-2 game surge, just enough to cost this team a top 5 pick, followed by more losing, low scoring, and a 6-10 record.

See, my theory had settled on Lazor as our problem on offense.

This is NOT to say I am endorsing Tannehill.

However, Zac Taylor is hamstrung by many of the same problems Campbell shouldered when he became interim head coach. You can't just overhaul an entire scheme in one week while preparing for the next opponent. The offensive line is still broken beyond repair. You will need to keep TEs in to block, always hampering the possible receiving options. Tannehill will continue to face relentless pressure, while throwing to receivers that aren't getting much separation or who continue to drop the ball.

It's a good symbolic move, firing the one culpable for our offensive failure. As far as a quick fix? I just don't see it.

One impact should be we see a lot more running plays called. Whether they are effective or not remains to be seen, especially now that we have Pouncey sidelined. With him in the mix, I like our running game a lot more.

I just love it when other people are posting at the same time as me Very Happy Makes me feel like I'm not talking to myself.

But yeah, running the ball more in and of itself would make the offense twice as effective.

316, I know most of us have been posting together for a long time, but are we really ready to take our relationships to the next level? Sleeping together, and sleeping IN at that!!!

I don't know what to tell you. This use to be the game but right now I am having a hard time wanting to watch these games anymore. generally I wanted Miami to win but I was hoping for the L so Miami has a better option during the draft.
