Not a surprise.  Hartline's fate was sealed after the Browns drafted FOUR receivers!

Maybe the new analytics guys didn't like his metrics. Now watch the Fins re-sign him, wouldn't that be hilarious?

BTW the most TD passes Hartline ever caught in a season was four. I was amazed it was that many. He has a whopping 14 TD receptions in seven seasons. You do the math

I don't really see a spot for hartline here. He will probably need to wait until camp when a team suffers key injuries to their receivers

Just goes to show how much Phins fans overrate Phins players. I'm sure fans of other teams do the same thing, but I remember reading Finheaven and other sites where people were drooling over how 'great' Hartline was. 1000 yards!!! Yeah, now he can't even earn a spot on the Browns.

Honestly, for a fourth round pick he's not bad. But he's definitely a 3rd option type receiver. If you're counting on him bring a one or two then the receivers on the team are far too weak.

We were using him too high on depth chart, obviously our team went the other way and drafted a new corps of receivers.

That's because before Hartline it really WAS a major accomplishment for a Fins WR to have over 1000 yards

Now of course Landry will probably do it every season, but needs over 100 catches.

Agreed, white - Hartline was an excellent value in the 4th round. He was a complementary receiver and never should have been a #1, but....Dolphins.

In his two 1000 yard seasons, if I remember right, he was ranked in the 20s in yards for WRs. So even though it was a monumental accomplishment for the Phins, it was really nothing special for the NFL.
