Re: Day 3 picks?
I think we need to address the offensive guard massive holes today.
We could go Isidora and/or Dunker, maybe Siragusa, but they may not be available by the 5th round.
If Kaaya is available in the 5th, get him too.

Re: Day 3 picks?
We haven't made much movement in this draft, and I really would have liked to see us move back a bit in the 1st, and then use that extra 3rd we would have gotten to get into the fourth. It's not like there weren't trading partners in the 1st, but they just HAD TO HAVE (minds made up several weeks in advance had to have) Harris. I hope the kid pans out really well, seems like a solid dude, and watching YouTube footage of him (a la fellow scout Birdmond ) he's got some really nice pass-rushing moves.

Definitely will have to trade up for starting guard.
Jake Butt , TE , Michigan would be the steal of the draft.

Re: Day 3 picks?
Johnson is an immediate starter; can't believe he's still there. He's by far the best OG left.
At S, King, Thompson and Jenkins are still really good values left.
Elder and Kazee are still there, likely due to size concerns. Whoever drafts Elder is getting a great value IMO.
George Kittle still there. Butt's injury dropped him.
Carl Lawson's injury concerns dropped him, but he's going to be a worthwhile risk at this point.
If we stay put, the worthwhile OG's will be long gone, but we will have a solid shot at addressing the safety position effectively. Damn that Carroo trade.

Re: Day 3 picks?
Not much we'll be able to do in round 5, but we have to add a safety and a guard at some point. Maybe even a WR/returner that can replace Grant.
Re: Day 3 picks?
My best guess on our 5th round as day 3 starts, assuming we stay put:
Jermaine Eleumunor
Rayshawn Jenkins
Ryan Glasgow

Re: Day 3 picks?
Update at pick 151: so much for Jenkins and Glasgow.
Asiata will almost certainly be the pick at 166 if he's still there; Corn Elder is still available as well and IMO would be excellent value. Channing Stribling is another possibility, Bucky Hodges and Jeremy Sprinkle are the best TE's left. And amazingly, Desmond King fell all the way to 151!
Update: Elder just taken at 152. Dammit. Would have loved to have doubled up on CB with him, or to have had King.

Re: Day 3 picks?
At DT, the best collection of talent overall remaining, 12 picks away from us:
Caleb Brantley is still there, the biggest free fall due to off-field issues.
Very good DT's still there: Qualls, DJ and Jarron Jones, Big Stevie, Vincent Taylor.
So we're almost certain to grab one at 178 IMO. Taylor is probably the preferred target.
OT probably isn't a targeted area but Will Holden and Roderick Johnson are both still there.
Revised prediction: 166 Asiata, 178 Taylor. Personally I'd take DJ Jones or Big Stevie over the latter though.

Got my guard. Now get me Brantley and Chad Kelly and I'll be a happy camper.

Re: Day 3 picks?
What did we trade to move up 2 spots for Asiata?
DT is certainly next. Deepest position left on the board.

I've been drinking but we just swapped two of our fifth round picks with two of theirs.

Ok with Godchaux too. Would actually like to see the team double up on DT given the talent out there right now.

Re: Day 3 picks?
At 194: Bucky Hodges, several good WR's (Isaiah Ford, Malachi Dupre), OLB Carroll Phillips among the possibilities with 10 picks in front of us. That said, my money's on Jadar Johnson if he's there.
Browns get Brantley. Damn what a value at 185 overall!

I like they are restocking the DL BUT OL is the problem.

Re: Day 3 picks?
Isaiah Ford was another good value. Day 3 was productive, and thank God no future picks were traded so we won't be this shorthanded next year.
Still need a S IMO, Jadar Johnson and Lorenzo Jerome might be priority FA's if not drafted the rest of the way.
Channing Stribling is also surprisingly there still, along with Bryan Cox Jr. and Jarron Jones. On the O-line, Collin Buchanan, Jon Toth, Tyler Orlosky and Aviante Collins remain undrafted midway through the 7th.

Re: Day 3 picks?
Okay, I have to say Day 3 wasn't bad. It shouldn't have been the best part of the draft but it wasn't bad If anything these players have a better chance of amounting to something than the first 3 picks IMO.
Literally just found out who the picks were BTW.
Also, I loved Chad Kelly being Mr. Irrelevant. That'll learn him

Re: Day 3 picks?
I am surprised that Miami only picked up one offensive player this draft. Must have though that Miami defense was too bad of shape to not fix
