Even though the Miami Dolphins’ start to the season was disrupted by Hurricane Irma, the NFL dismissed inquiries by the Dolphins to move the Oct. 1 Saints game in London to Hard Rock Stadium.

“I asked,” Dolphins owner Stephen Ross said Monday, via email. “It will be played in London.”

The Dolphins are playing only seven games in Miami this season in order to accommodate the NFL’s desire to schedule several games in England each season.

The Dolphins broached the possibility of moving the Saints game to Miami not only because Irma forced the postponement of this past Sunday’s opener against Tampa Bay, but also because the team is spending at least 10 days away from home in advance of next Sunday’s game at the Los Angeles Chargers.

of course it will be played in London - he didn't really think the NFL would let the Phins off the hook?

of course, he has no one but himself (and the other owners) to blame. 3 years ago the owners voted to make hosting a London game a mandatory requirement for being awarded a Super Bowl.

now that he got the 2020 Super Bowl in Miami, he owes the league the London game. maybe he should be more concerned with putting a competitive product on the field.

No worries. pouncey says they'll be just fine. Does ANYONE actually expect HIM to play all 16 games? Not hardly. He'll have his "bye week" and then some. Believe that.

Chronic hip problems with weak legs...not a good combination for an interior lineman. If he makes it to 10 games, I'll be surprised.
