Can Miami Stop the Bills Empty Can Miami Stop the Bills

Miami is 2-7 but that doesn't mean that it going to be easy the rest of the way. Miami will have to face a Bill team that has beat them before. During that time Miami was struggling to get themselves together as a team but now with things going there way Miami has the confidence to step out and say we can beat these guys. Josh Allen threw for 202 yards and 2 TD while Gore and Allen combined for 87 yards on the ground. Two fumbles and an INT killed Miami that game. Miami is back for round to at home but what does Miami have to do to beat these guys.....

Slow down the offense
if anything Miami has to stop Josh Allen. Josh Allen has the ability to run as pass which makes him one of the top threat in this game. Right now he has 10 TD and 7 INT which means there are opportunities to get some turnovers. Miami's LB need be ready for Allen running away when the rush comes we need a LB spy to monitor Allen if he tries to run away. Frank Gore who killed Miami in the run doesn't seem to be playing well the last two games against the Eagles and the Redskins and he was invisible against the Browns which mean either he hurt or he not getting the touches anymore but still need to watch out for him as well. Against the Eagles and Redskins the Bills have a total of 220 yards on the ground and a majority of it is coming from Allen, so stopping Allen is key.

Miami defense has the potential to stop all by causing disruptions in the passing game. As long as Miami plays lights out for 90% of the game Miami wins, if they can't do that then Miami losses and big. Miami DL and LB have to create all types of pressure without allowing any types of rushing lanes for Allen to run. This also goes for the running game as well. Gore might not have played well during the last three games but that doesn't mean he will not play well against Miami. Close hole and plug gaps means that everyone need to contribute. If I was Flores I would be creative with the blitzing as well. From the Safeties to the CB, everyone get an opportunity to hit Allen. Fake blitz from the DB as well keep Allen on his toes.

Find a way to Run the Ball
The last two game, the Bills have struggled against the run. Even though the Redskins didn't technically score on any run plays the Eagles did and three times matter of fact. The last three games the Bills have allowed almost 500 yards on the ground. This means that Miami need to find a way to use Gaskins and Laird because Ballage is not cutting it. Miami needs to open up holes and making opportunities for the RB to get down field that also means the WR need to block better as well. The Bills are ranked 12th in the league in rushing yards, so this is not going to be an easy task especially with Walton out. Miami will have to find a way.

Fitz need to sprinkle some magic
This is another task that need that going to be hard without Williams creating separation for the other WR. Right now Parker is doing a good job but he is not getting the opportunities like he was getting when Williams was around. Albert Wilson is not doing his job this year being targeted 19 but with only 11 comps for 58 yards and 1 TD. I know that he has been out for a while the last three games he only has 8 yards ( this is not acceptable). This means that Gesicki, Hurns and Parker once again will need to step up and make some big plays downfield while passes in the backfield needs to be more consistent. Flores need to find a way to get the ball into the endzone through the air. The Bills are 24th in the league when it comes to passing yards, so Miami need to keep up with the consistency with the Bills 24th ranking through the air.

Does any of this mean that the Fins can win, probably not but Miami needs to prove they are not just winning against teams that are dysfunctional or have key players injured but are able to be a matchup against teams that have the crowd booing even if Miami wins by 3.

When you look at the collection of pitiful, putrid, pathetic pansies remaining on the Fins' schedule, the only way they can't win out is if Rosen replaces Fitz at QB. They've already proven that pretty much any other injury is irrelevant. They can absolutely beat the Bills and everybody else as long as Rosen's not involved in any meaningful way.
