The Chargers are decimated by injury. Missing 3 O lineman and their best offensive weapons. That being said you can’t put a rookie in 3rd and long almost every 3 downs. Herbert played lights out for any rookie QB.

Herbert is coming along nicely and made some great throws last night. But he's still far too inconsistent. That offense goes 3 and out way too many times. He threw at least 3 really bad passes last night that should've been intercepted. And his feel for pressure is very poor...doesn't seem to know when and where pressure is going to come from. Still, the Chargers have to be happy with what he's shown overall.
