Dolphins and Emmanuel Ogbah have reached agreement on a 4-year, $65 million deal that includes $32 million fully guaranteed at signing, per his agent @DrewJRosenhaus.

Great signing. Keep your own first.
Most likely tested the market and gave both him and Dolphins higher confidence on fair value.

Very good deal and IMO we are keeping one of the two most important players on this D. Great start to FA by keeping him and Gesicki.

@flasportsbuzz
Per OverTheCap's @Jason_OTC, Ogbah's cap number this season will be just $7.6 M, then jump to $18.6 M in 2023. So Dolphins still with more than $35 M in space at this hour, and can easily clear out $21 M more.

Nice. Still want to get Gesicki and Wilkins inked for a few extra years.

You said it, Brother!
I like seeing the team reward its own players for good performance.
I suspect Wilkins will be expensive if he has another season this year, like he did last season.
He was looking like a real difference maker this season.

Re: Dolphins to re-sign Ogbah!!
Withe the Phins re-signing Ogbah, Duke Riley, Sam Eguavoen and Elandon Roberts, it makes me think that the defensive players really like Josh Boyer. I know there were "reports" that players weren't happy with him being kept as DC, but these re-signings seem to say otherwise.
Re: Dolphins to re-sign Ogbah!!
I have no PROOF to back up my thoughts, but all that talk about "murmurings" and "grumbling" I was hearing last year about the "team" not being happy with Flores... I suspect/surmise that was all about how Flores was treating Tua. Players caught on quickly to the fact Flores was blaming Tua for the poor offense and not himself for his ludicrous Offensive Coaching Staff he had re-re-re-assembled for the third consecutive year.
And then the whole "Not Talking" to the coaching staff thing.
There is a reason Brian Flores will always be referred to by me as "TeamKiller" Flores.
It took his last season for me to FINALLY realize, much like Dave Wannstedt, no team would ever be successful over the long run with Flores as HC.
On the Defense: They do seem to be making an attempt to "Keep the Band together". Which is not a bad thing IMO. Add a significant pass rushing threat and an upgrade at MLB and this defense COULD take another step.

Add yet another Dolphins' defensive FA chooses to stay in Miami:
Cameron Wolfe
@CameronWolfe
Dolphins are re-signing LB Brennan Scarlett to a one-year deal, per his agent @henryorgann of Disruptive Sports Agency.
Scarlett had another offer elsewhere but decided to stay in Miami.
