On the bright side, I predicted a 38-16 loss. Instead, we lost 24-16. Not much of a "bright side", but we have to take what we can get!
Seriously, though, we need the defense to keep playing like that - but they MUST find a way to cause turnovers too.

the Phins out played or at least equaled the Vikings in most facets of the game, but turnovers, penalties and poor pass protection cost them this very winnable game. Waddle's drop for an interception and fumble led directly to 10 points - more than the margin of victory.
while clearly the offense didn't hold up their end of the deal, i absolutely hate to see quotes like this...

some body might want to remind X that its the defense that gave up 42 and 40 to the Ravens and Jets. They might also want to show him the highlights of Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow successfully picking on him. oh, and in this latest game, Howard was the one who gave up the 47-yarder to Jefferson and the TD to Thielen. and when was the last time Howard had an interception? i get it, the offense has its issues, but maybe X needs to look in the mirror before pointing fingers.

“We just gotta figure this out,” Howard said. “We got to score points. You can’t win without scoring points on offense.”

Very disappointing to hear those words from a veteran, and a player that should be a leader. I hope Tyreek takes him aside and clears the air. We don't need an "offense vs. defense" battle - at all.
