Tough decisions at OL, RB, WR and DB.

I had to cut EZ...just haven't seen enough. Hopefully he makes it to the PS.  But again - if Wilson gets traded, EZ is in.

Brooks was a RB I really wanted to keep - but he only played late in preseason games, indicating that he is behind the top 4 backs.

I kept Eich off - I think he gets IR'd.

We'll have to add another safety, and probably DL and LB too.

I did this quickly, so who am I missing?

i think Jalen Ramsey has to be on the initial 53 (then PUP or IR) in order to be considered for a return later in the year.

Ah, OK. So then Ramsey over McKinley at DB. That would also mean Robert Jones over Lester Cotton at OL. And we'll see what they do if they think Elijah Campbell will be able to return after this weekend's injury.

Dolphins cuts began shortly after 2PM today. so far most have been predictable. the only one that i see to this point that you predicted staying is LB Malik Reed. he was released.

I think they would keep EZ over Chosen, but...

I think I would keep Brooks over Ahmed, but it is hard to argue with how Ahmed was playing.

I just hope all this sloppy arsed play from the preseason was not something that is going to linger?

I would definitely keep Brooks over Ahmed, but looking at how they've been used in preseason - Ahmed gets snaps with the 1s and 2s, and Brooks gets snaps with the 3s, 4s, 5s. That says it all.

Chosen is, I believe, Hill's primary backup - so that pretty much makes him a lock IMO. I like EZ's potential, but the kid just hasn't shown much.

Malik Reed was a surprise cut. He showed nothing in preseason, but I figured his familiarity with Fangio would be enough to earn a spot. Guess not! I wonder if this paves the way for one of the youngsters to make it (Nelson or Algude)?

I just want to remind everyone once again that Grier decided to draft Ezukanma over both Zach Tom and Romeo Doubs, both of whom are projected starters for the Packers.

Also, it's obvious McDaniel hates size in his skill position players, Davante Parker had been traded for this very reason, and yet the decision to draft a player identical to Parker in size was made anyway. Why???   Am I really supposed to believe Grier was doing what McDaniel wanted in this case?

Tom's ability to play to play OT or center sure would be nice right now. And who would you rather have in the WR room, Doubs or Cedrick Wilson--who BTW are also listed at the same size? These are the moves that have me sobbing into a pillow at night.

I'd take brooks as the power back. We already have 2 better ahmeds is Mostert and Wilson

you would think, but apparently not. both Nelson and Agude were released along with defensive end Randy Charlton, safety Keidron Smith, quarterback James Blackman, offensive offense tackle James Tunstall, receiver Keke Coutee and linebacker A.J. Johnson.

apparently Adam Shefter reported that Malik Reed was released, but the Dolphins have not announced it (they announced all the others) so there is some question of confirmation.

if Reed was released, that leaved Miami at 75 (i think) and means there are 22 more names to go - with some coming back as PS squad and some new names maybe coming too once other teams make their releases.

We are going to have to Cut some Good Players Today which I think is a Good Thing because it shows this Team is going to Special this Year.

I'm almost done with Thompson those INT's the other Night were Terrible especially the second one to Wilson who was so Wide open for a 15 yard gain and he threw 10 yards over his head. Grier who was Cut by Dallas would be a Nice Pick up.

Wow, Ryan Hayes released! I thought he looked good at LT - against scrubs, but still. Hope he makes it to the PS.

That's what's frustrating about Thompson: the INTs were absolutely BRUTAL, but the rest of the time he played really well and made some good throws. It seems like he is not yet at the point where the game has slowed down for him - he makes the right reads, but it takes him too long to process. That will hopefully come in time.

I don't really have any interest in Will Grier. I'm totally fine rolling with Thompson and White.

C - Uluave has been cut

Well, I was wrong as hell about that one!

But the good news is, I think he'll be an easy stash on the PS. I don't see any team picking him up.

Now to see who they add as a backup center - bet they have something brewing...

No surprise there. Hand and Higgins were just cut too.

TE Eric Saubert is expected to be cut.

Interesting: Broncos cut TE Albert Okwuegbunam I'd b e VERY interested, but I'm sure he'll be picked up by another team based on waiver order...I assume the Phins aren't at the top of the waiver list.

Phins reworked Cedric Wilson's contract, so he's safe - for now.

Cam Goode and Trill Williams are gone.
