The Dolphins are reworking WR Cedrick Wilson Jr.'s contract, source says. Miami lowering his base salary to $2M and giving him a $3M signing bonus to equal his $5M in guaranteed salary this year. Incentives can push salary up to $7.25M. Contract will now void after 2023.

If I'm reading Over The Cap correctly, this new deal should free up about $8 million in cap space next year.

And another intriguing TE released: Steelers are cutting Zach Gentry. He's 6'8", 265 and a very good blocker. Doesn't offer much in the passing game, but another blocking TE couldn't hurt.

Nice move for the Eagles IMO.

Sounds like TEs Hill and Conner were cut. One or both will be back IMO.

This roster will look VERY different once players are assigned to IR.

Now that Grier's hopefully got the pointless drama and ego stroking out of his system, he should run, not walk, to sign Zappe. Couldn't POSSIBLY be worse than those two bumbling bums Skylar and Mike White!!!

Brooks in in and Taylor is out, that alone makes me happier than I've been in ages And then my new fave Hill sticks too      

If Chosen Anderson/Robbie Chosen/whoever the hell he's identifying as this week couldn't make THIS team at WR, it's a surefire sign he's washed and needs to hang it up for good. Yet ANOTHER FA signing by Grier that turned out to be a big bunch of nothing. When your best FA signing in an offseason is Isaiah Wynn, you might be in trouble...

Worst player kept is Kion Smith. Like, seriously??? WTF???

The Pats never had a QB to begin with (rim shot).

I'd be interested in Zappe myself. I can't understand the Patriots cutting him myself, but cutting him AND Cunningham (who I think they'd like to stash on the PS)? WTH is Belicheck doing?

For my part, very happy to see Brooks, Hill and Pili make it, particularly the first two, who I feel really earned it. Cracraft over Chosen is the right move IMO, but I didn't have a problem bringing in the veteran competition. I also agree with Cotton making it; I felt he made the team from what I was seeing in the PS.

This just in. Bill is his worse enemy as a GM. And I like that. Can’t wait to see it all implode again

and while it was mostly against many guys who are no longer in the league today, Brooks was the highest rated rookie RB in the entire league during preseason.

Phins re-sign CB Parry Nickerson. That probably means at least one player was IR'd to open a spot.

I thought Nickerson looked good in preseason - glad he made it. I always like corners that active and are always around the ball - Nickerson seems like that type.

Ryan Hayes to the Colts. I would've liked to see him stay, but clearly the Phins had him behind Kion Smith.
