Running the Mighty Mights
The Dolphins offense has a banged up Hill and now Waddle has a high ankle sprain. Both receivers were injured in receiver sweeps. Is it time for McDaniel to remove that play from the Mighty Mights repertoire? Both plays were sniffed out by the defense and both receivers injured the same way.

I'm so tired of this play. They need to change things up to make a run.

The jet sweep yes. The Fade no. We just need to stop throwing the fade to 5'10 and under. Claypool should be on every end of it.

I just didn't like going for it on fourth and goal from the 5, period. Giving away 3 sure points versus a highly unlikely conversion from 5 yards out. Cost us a chance to have a two score game instead of a one score game for much of the game after. We did convert the late drive this time, thankfully, but we could have been just running out the clock with it instead of needing points.

The 4th down fade on Sunday was to Ced Wilson, who I think is 6'3". But it doesn't matter who the receiver is - it's a ridiculously low percentage play where everything has to be absolutely perfect for it to work. On 4th and short, I want a play that has a high likelihood of working - not a play that usually fails.

Exactly. If you absolutely have to throw a fade for some reason, do it on first down when you still have downs to use after it inevitably fails. But on 4th down? Just plain stupid.
