Got the Covid

This is day 2/3 of the Covid. Started feeling achy Monday night. Took a home Covid test yesterday that showed positive. Followed up with another positive test today.

So far it's been fever and body aches.

My girlfriend is showing symptoms. She's had it and also been vaccinated.

My wife has had it for about a week and a half. Pretty mild overall...started with a sinus infection/sore throat. She's feeling much better but has periods of fatigue and has a cough and shortness of breath. She is vaxxed. Somehow, my daughter and I have not caught it.

My co worker got it and it's run through her family pretty hard with both parents being hospitalized. She has MS so no vaccine. They ended up giving her the regeneron antibodies which helped her improve.

I'm having a Sergio Leone movie fest while I recover. Man was a genius.

I feel your pain bro. It's been over a months and I'm still not 100%

I just watched 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' last week!! Yes, Leone was top shelf - his movies were just incredible.

Tuco is a great bad guy. His scream at the end of the movie is classic.

Once upon a time in the west is my favorite movie. The sound score and cinematography are stunning.

I actually have not seen Once Upon a Time in the West. So many great actors in it. I need to check it out.

The way Sergio Leone uses sound in Once Upon a Time in the West is haunting/mesmerizing. The background sounds build suspense like no movie I've ever watched before.

My wife just passed the 3 week mark and she is still home from work. She was getting physically exhausted whenever she did anything - even going up and down the stairs. But fortunately she is getting better little by little. She's trying to build up stamina by taking walks, and her cough is gone - so hopefully the worst is over.

I feel like crap. My fever went away Saturday. Back to work on Monday at an alpine lake in the Sierras. Very winded and achy. I could have used another week of recovery time. The 9 days I was off from work will be covered by recovery act money so I save vacation days. I'm glad your wife is starting to feel better. People I work with are recovering a little more quickly but they had the regeneron drip.

I smelled my shampoo tonight. First smell in 18-19 days. Starting to taste again although taste is off. My office has been at 7800 feet this week. Monday I could barely walk a few hundred feet at that elevation. Up to about a mile now. Still get winded on minor hills. Baby steps.

It took a full month but I'm finally feeling better. Yesterday was the first day I felt okay in the evening. I've had aches like having flu at the end of every day.
