What's The Point Of The Season Going Forward?

We know what this team is and we know it'll once again never win a playoff game and might miss the playoffs altogether. We can't even enjoy the empty calorie offensive numbers anymore knowing that's about to come to a screeching halt from now on. Looks like another completely pointless exercise of finishing with the 15th-19th pick or so and having Grier blow the first round pick--if he doesn't end up trading it away this week.

Every single time this team plays someone who's so much as one game above .500 we now know they'll not only lose but get curbstomped. Every single time. I've lost interest. One can only see the same movie with the same plot so many times. The worst part was that the Bills were actually TRYING to GIVE them the division and the Fins were like, "Naaah, you take it. We don't do that whole playoffs thing." I now fully expect this team to finish LAST in the division--the Jets and Pats legitimately look far superior now.

LOL! Now is not the time to "punt" on the season.

New England is not exactly a "must win"... but it's pretty damn close. We really, really need Williams back at center.

The point of the season is that we are still alive. Ultimately we aren't winning a Super Bowl, but we can still make the playoffs.

But step one: New England is absolutely, 100% a must win. If we lose to the Pats, we'll be 5-4 heading into the bye. At that point, the division crown and probably the playoffs are more or less on the edge of falling off the table.
