Jevon Holland is a name I've heard but I can't say I know a lot about him. I am not surprised they went with a Safety.

Carson called it - Jevon Holland, safety from Oregon!  Seems like it's a bit high for him, but he's a helluva player.  He's a ballhawk, and can also return punts.  Again, not the pick I would have made here but I see the fit and he's a good player.  I like it - gives us lots of options in the secondary.  I am surprised he went before Moehrig...

I don't like that pick there, at all. Feels like a Plan B after Williams was snatched.

Mike Golic just praised the Eagles for drafting "Devonta Davis" in round one!

They made the pick right away - seems like they were ready to pick him.  I really don't think they were going to take Williams there.

Seems like they are ready to move on from McCain.  Holland is an INT machine!!

No surprise that the Pats traded up and took Barmore!

It's not the player, it's where they got him. I guess they thought he wouldn't be available later. Holland is solid.

Having a ball hawk at FS could really take this defense to the next level.  McCain has been decent, but he's not a playmaker at all.  Holland will be a big upgrade IMO.  He may be a bit raw, but he has the skills.

Yeah I thought Holland might be available later as well, but I guess they really liked him.

I've seen him mocked to the Fins numerous times. Can he play on the right side?

Only thing I've heard is a possible move to guard, but nothing about playing right tackle. I'm not a fan of flipping guys to the opposite side of the line.

Wow!  Eichenberg!  Didn't see that coming...much smaller than the Phins prototype.  Left tackle at Notre Dame but I think he'd be better on the right side or maybe even at guard.  Interesting pick for sure.  I would have preferred Humphrey.  Not crazy about this pick, but addressing OL is not a bad thing at all.

Looks like we gave up a third round next year to move up.

Phins moved up by trading the 50th pick + a 3rd rounder next year...I guess the one we got from the Niners.  They must really like this dude.

I don't think Miami needed to move up for Eichenberg. Wasted draft capital!
